Tell us about yourself
I am Aisha Abubakar by name. I am from Kogi State, Olamaboro Local
Government, Igala by Tribe. I am a 200level undergraduate, studying
business administration in Kogi State University, Anyigba.
How long have you been doing pageantry?
Not quite long, I have always wished to be a crown queen. But I
started just two years ago.
Why do you compete in pageants?
Because first & foremost I am Beautiful. Not just physically but inner
beauty & I'm talented. Pageantry is a way of expressing and
showcasing this combination.

Do you prefer pageantry to modeling?
Not really, they are almost on the same line but with little
differences. Pageantry has to do with expressing your self, culture,
diversity & innate talent. While modeling is about expressing an
artist, by way of fashion, advert, etc.
What do you hope to gain from pageantry?
What I hope to gain is to touch d lives of many out there.
What is your dream crown or tittle?
My dream crown is Miss Nigeria & subsequently miss world.
What title have you won and how did it change you?
Miss NAKOSS 2012/2013 (National Association of Kogi State Students). It has
opened up my mind to a whole new horizon & different perspective as
to how far one can go in realizing ones dream. Also, my reign as Miss
Nakoss has made me reached out to people I wouldn't otherwise have.
And that's a blessing.
Your role model?
I don't have a particular role model. As far as you are good @ what
you do, I just admire you.
Will we see you in any upcoming pageant?
Sure. Face of Democracy Nigeria is on point. If it is God's will, I
will be representing Kogi State in the beauty contest.
A word to your friends.
I love them all, and life wouldn't be life without them. I want to
thank them for believing in me and motivating me to go higher. They
just keep me going. I can't afford to disappoint them.
