upbringing

Ws born and brought up in gboko benue state..into a family of five..I
was born wit a Golden spoon but I lost d spoon in 2001 following d
death of my father.we relocated back to kogi state were I completed my
secondary education and tertiary education respectively

Growing up for me ws like any typical nigerian child,who is surrounded
wit struggles and challenges of life..tank God for the mum I have,who
gave us herself in totality to make sure we stand stall among our
equals.and so goes d story

What were your goals as a young boy?

I had some many dreams I wanted to make happen in life, but d
situation in dis country will change ur destiny

U won't believe I had only wanted to become a catholic priest,it was
my passion since I was ten.
I passed my exams for the seminary school(st kizito seminary),but wen
the prospectus came,I couldn't afford d fees,so I lost out of that. one
of my regrets in life. But now i can't  see my passion as becoming a priest
again. “laughs” I don't know wat happend and pls don't ask me..later on, I
had always wanted to study medicine but university of abuja won't
give me the admission. I guess these are the two most important ones

Rhymes?

It just happened.
Never knew it was going to happen this way
Am a very Good actor,multi talented, dere was notin I wasn't good at doing
wen it comes to entertainment..
When I got admission into kogi state university,I was a very social
person but couldn't figure out what I wanted to do. But I knew I
needed to be specialized in sumfin to create a brand for myself..
I joined a dance group,called dance Empire but I discovered my talent
 was not there because I was always sidelined during major events..

Hmmm...
Good side is u found ur talent @ last... U couldn't do much in dancing
cos it wasn't ur call... Trying to Learn what u aint designed 4  is
just like trying 2 teach a goat how to hunt.. ;)

One day,there was an event in school,my group was booked to perform but I
was not selected  to join them for the performance,so. I sat in d
audience and watched.
There was a guy,who was invited from UNN to perform, his name was  Mr
Rhymes, he just came with nothing so special to admire him, the crowd was
bored and they tried to boo him when he was ushered  to the
stage. They needed somthing to put them on their feet.
When he started rhyming,d hall was quite,a fresh breeze blew the
overwhelming crowd, they clapped,laughed and enjoyed evry bit of his
performance..he came out with the best performance leaving a message.

Yea... I remember I was in dat show.

I went home that night couldn't sleep,was awake through out,so I
challenged myself to do better,then d flow came and ever since I have
being intoxicated with the rhymes and music..we are married nw..lol

The next time I met wit Mr rhymes again was at Otukpo canival in
2010..I flawed him on stage and he confessed to me.. told him he was my
inspiration but he couldn't remember.. the rest is history..
At otukpo canival, he confessed to me that I was really Good,I told
him he was better,and ever since we have been friends.

Any Challenges so far?

Definitely,dere are challenges. nothing Good comes easy, had a lot.. don't
really know which one to mention.. so far,I have really been
victorious,I have an album,shot two videos,living my dreams,going on
tours,performing and organizing my own programs.

Of course,I even have a Rhymic musical album I did back in
school,which was hosted by grace Fm lokoja and joy Fm otukpo
I had one of d most publicized,packaged and most attended album launch
and party in the history of ksu.
I sold over a 1000 copies before it went
commercial.
Tanx to veryone who made it work.
Presently, I hav so many materials in the studio ready to be pushed out.
I want to fuse rhymes into music.
This will come with style,maturity and dope.
Just watch out.
