Jambites Got To Pray.

I was listening to the news today and I overheard them saying that out of about 1.7million Nigerians that wrote the UTME, over 1million candidates may not be given admission because Nigerian tertiary institutions can admit only about 500,000 candidates. Did I just here you say “what do they expect the rest 1million youths to be doing”? That’s exactly the question I asked myself when I heard the news.

Imagine having over 1million frustrated youths in the country. Hmmm…. I reserve my comments on what that could cause. I can bet you that not less than 700,000 out of this 1.7million had written jamb more than once. Think about how frustrated such once will be. How can a country like Nigeria, as large as we are come out to tell the whole world without any iota of shame that their tertiary institutions are equipped to carry just half a million candidate in a year.

To the jambites, you’ve all got to pray to be among the selected few. And if you are not lucky to be among the few once, I would want you to be strong and don’t you ever give up on your dreams. Someday God will crown your efforts with success.
